Construction
The sculpture will be constructed, beginning on July 14, 2003 at New
Horizons Yacht Harbor in Sodus Point, NY. Viewing of the construction
will be open to the public during the day starting on July 14. Exact hours
that we are working will vary depending on the temperature in the
boathouse, however someone will be available as much as possible during the
day.
Launch
The completed pieces of the sculpture will be paraded from the marina to
Oscar Fuerst Field in downtown Sodus Point on Saturday, July 19. Finally
assembly of the sculpture will be done on the ball field in time for a late
afternoon launch. The parade is scheduled to start at 2:00pm. The launch
is scheduled for 7:00pm. In the event of bad weather on Saturday, we will
launch at dawn on Sunday.
