It's been a long time since I sent anything to the list! My trombone playing has been keeping me really busy! Anyway, here's a hat I made a lot of times on Saturday: (It's pretty simple and everybody liked it, and *very* appropriate for the season! ) The Antler Hat You'll Need: 3 260's (preferably brown) Instructions: Make a simple helmet out of one 260. Make it a little larger than what you normally make to fit correctly. Inflate a second 260 leaving about an inch uniflated. Twist a 6 inch bubble. Make a 6-1-1-1-8 inch combination and pinch-n-pop the three 1 inch bubbles to separate the two longer bubbles. You should have something now that looks like a lower case "t". Set this balloon aside. Repeat the sequence with the last balloon only change the size of the 6 and 8 inch bubbles to whatever size you like. To attach the antelers to the helmet, lock twist the non-nozzle (the rear-end? :) ) of the "t" balloon about 3 inches from its end to the middle of one of the sides of the helmet balloon. Repeat for the other balloon. These steps make the helmet size fit smaller thats why you had to make it larger. Finally, twist the two antlers together over the center of the helmet and bend them to point in a more upward direction. All done! :) Add a red nose to the wearer and they'll be in the cat-bird-seat! :) Feel free to post any questions! -- Have a Disney Day!!
