Airigami: The art of balloon sculpting
About the Class
Art can take many forms. Balloons, although an unusual
medium, present an interesting avenue for creative expression. You will be
introduced to the basic tools and principles that apply to balloon art.
Begin with a simple dog and advance to more difficult projects including
portraits. Work with balloons to reproduce common figures and to create
your own sculptures. All supplies are included for in-class projects.
Who should take this class?
Anyone that has an interest in visual arts will feel comfortable in this
class. There is no need for previous experience with balloons to register.
Clowns and other entertainers that use balloons but would like to learn
more about their uses will also find this educational. Several advanced
balloon artists have taken this class multiple times as there's always
something new to be explored.
